Little blue bird
I went to my friend Bola's open house sale where she was selling some of her creations and I couldn't resist this sweet little bird, I had to take it home. Here are some more images of her pots inspired by fairytales and other childhood memories. You can read about her and see more here.

A window
The cut-out piece could be a window looking backwards at the past, but I like to think it's catching a glimpse of the future...

Hoping & Dreaming
"If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose the courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream."
Martin Luther King Jnr
